I am more than happy to receive any suggestions on how the forum should look. I have just kept it pretty clean and basic.

I think you've a good job of it.
I've just noticed that the main headers, that links back through to the front page is in black. The text faddes into the dark background.
You could try and take the background picture, and invert the colours on it and then reapply?
I'm just weary that if you change the headers it might apply it for all of them, like the "Quick Reply" header.

Do you reckon there's any mileage in creating a Day-Z thread on the front page? So we can then create further sub-threads with content related to DayZ.
Or
Are folk happy with the current DayZ thread under General?
