Putting some key mechanics I've noticed whilst playing BF3. Just by noticing some has allowed me to get out of tight spots during heavy fire.
Attack Helicopter Start up time from cold: xx secs Start up time from hot: neglible
Viper
+ 180 turn mid-air, no speed. Test 1 -6: TBA
+ 180 turn mid-air, max speed. Test 1: 7.1s Test 2: 6.5s Test 3: 5.9s Test 4: 6.3s Test 5: 6.4s Test 6: 6.2s
Havoc
180 turn mid-air, no speed. TBA 180 turn mid-air, max speed. TBA
Jets
Flying on Alborz mountain @ 250/300m Stinger launch . T-I ~ 3 seconds. Response: Sharp manoeuvre into vertical climb w/afterburners to climb out of lock on territory. Vertical climbs have bought time for flares to reload. Flares have reloaded during missile flight.
Scout Helicopter Feel5Alive
Bird drop manoevure. Need to time drop when SAM is mid way from personnel and target.
Tanks
On Caspian border from RU. From RU hill to US deployment, long range optics, reveal target to be 750-800m away. Calibrate turret angle according to RU optic deviations for hit.
Tank during sprint is more susceptible to damage if your salvo hits the enemy movable turret housing. This is a glitch in the game. Where engaging in tank v tank in open environment try to force the enemy tank to move away. Do use this tactic in Seine or closed off (small maps).
